Our primary cause is climate change because our customers are global..and climate change is a global issue that affects each and every one of us.
This said, we don't want to be too vague with our efforts. We want to demonstrate accountable and impactful results. This is why we have pledged that for every pair of socks you purchase we plant a tree in a biodiversity hotspot.
To achieve this effectively and transparently we have partnered with registered charity One Tree Planted.
Why trees?
Trees are beautiful. And a crucial component of mitigating the impacts of climate change. Beyond their incredible ability to absorb carbon from the atmosphere, they:
- Clean the air we breathe
- Filter the water we drink
- Provide habitat to over 80% of the world's terrestrial biodiversity
- Provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people
- Are ingredients in 25% of all medicines (including the humble yet ubiquitous aspirn).
